I never even got to the delete part before the crash

I tried to delete 200,000 docs from a view, but I wanted to keep several thousand of the latests (sorted by date.) So I selected all and then tried to deselect some docs. As soon as I tried to deselect, Notes 8.5.3 would hang.

I had to perform the delete with a 7.03 client. No problem with 7.03.

My client moved from 6.5 to 8.5.3 after I left the project. I had told them not to go to 8.5.3...to upgrade to 7.04. They went to 8.5.3 and now they have issues like this. At the moment I'm trying to upgrade the development environment to 7.04...at least I'll have a usable development platform instead of that crippled 8.5.3 Designer.
